Vicoda viscoelastic dampers
The Vicoda viscoelastic damper consists of a reservoir containing a viscous substance. The top of the damper is provided with a stamp that floats in the viscous substance. The viscode damper sits between the vibrating pipe and the solid world. The viscous property allows slow pipe movements and dampens vibrations.

Vicoda viscoelastic dampers are used in addition to ordinary pipe supports (hanging or standing) to absorb vibrations or shocks such as water hammer. Depending on the temperature, application and desired damping, different designs and fillings are possible.
