Habonim single acting Compact™ Actuator - SR
In Habonim double-acting Compact™ actuators, four pistons create torque around one centrally located piston. Using four pistons instead of the conventional number of two doubles the power of the actuator as a whole. At the same time, both pistons and chambers can be made smaller, resulting in lower overall air consumption and faster response times.
The result is double the output compared to a conventional rack & pinion of the same size, or half the size for the same output. This makes this actuator a very compact solution, which brings advantages if available space is scarce.

Application
The series of single-acting actuators consists of fourteen variants that can be fitted with eight different spring cartridges. The 'M' series is equipped with a spring cartridge which enhances the return action of the actuator. This makes these actuators perfectly adaptable to specific conditions and to a specific required torque of a valve.
Habonim Compact™ actuators can be used on any type of quarter-turn valve, making them applicable to butterfly and plug valves, among others.
